What Leaders Do to Achieve Their Goals

By Myriam Callegarin • January 6th, 2010

After looking at the 7 Reasons Why People Don’t Achieve Their Goals, here’s what Leaders do to achieve them instead:

  1. They take charge of their success
  2. They look for the simplest path - instead of struggling with complicated ones
  3. They focus their attention
  4. They surround themselves with supporters
  5. They are persistent and yet know when to back off
  6. They leverage their passion, i.e. they manage their time and energy effectively
  7. They look at how others can benefit from their actions
  8. Every day, they make decisions that move them closer to their goals
