Outcome of our Leaders Exchange on December 10
Hello!
What an inspiring discussion we had last Thursday! Pam Boney, author of the Transcendent Leader Model, answered all our questions on the various leadership styles, and on the impact they have on their organizations.
We learnt about:
- Dysfunctional Leadership – that hurts! And it’s soooo common!
- Transactional Leadership – getting better…
- Transformational Leadership - this one would be great if it weren’t too self-centred.
- Trascendent Leadership – Now this one is balanced and truly effective, at all levels!
The great thing is, everyone – yes I’m saying Everyone – can make it up to Transcendent Leadership. What a deep impact this could have on ourselves, on the way we work, on the people around us!
Another great point we touched was “Strengths“. We gained a totally new perspective on Strengths, and how there are no “Strengths and Weaknesses”.
But we’ll dig deeper in this during one of our future Leaders Exchanges! If you want to learn more about our Leaders Exchanges, click here.

Enjoyed listening to the program and hope to implement much of what was shared in my business. Learning how to best serve clients and how to empower others to grow is critical for my networking business.
I still remember this special call very well and was impressed by the information Pam gave us. For sure, I will dig deeper and implement this knowledge in my business and every day life.
Thank you for organizing the call.
Thank you Danielle! Thank you Gaby!
I really enjoyed the call also because I’m fascinated by this leadership model.
As I understand, it was originally developed for the corporate world, but I believe that also other people and organizations would greatly benefit from this approach, including schools, hospitals, and even small business owners.
Have a great day,
Myriam
