Corporate and Management Experience:

Myriam is an accomplished Business Consultant and Leadership Coach with almost 20 years of international experience working with corporate enterprises, global executives and entrepreneurs. She has worked at Mercedes-Benz AG (today Daimler AG) for 12 years in Germany, Singapore and South Korea, mainly in the Sales Division of passenger cars, and later as a Market Consultant for the integration of e-Business solutions for the Mercedes-Benz brand in the Southeast Asian, Australian and Italian markets.

Her passion for business process re-engineering, for cross-cultural communication and for engaging people in the development of solutions for a common goal, brought her to either initiate or to take part in several  corporate projects involving global stakeholders, until successful completion.

In 2001, Myriam’s entrepreneurial side took over, so she decided to leave the corporate world to build her own consulting firm in Italy, MC XTEND International Business Development, offering Market Entry services to foreign companies interested in the Italian market. She soon expanded her business by partnering with experienced, high-level consultants in order to specialize in Market Entry Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Process Re-engineering, Temporary Management and Post-Merger Cross-Cultural Integration.

In early 2008 Myriam decided to focus on the personal side of business development, started her coach training and founded Effective Actions. Since then she has been working with clients from all over the world, mainly assisting entrepreneurs in the start up and development of their international business, as well as corporate executives who wanted to advance their career and improve their self- and team leadership skills.  Her clients appreciate her ability to help them quickly gain clarity in complex situation and to engage them in the development of solutions for themselves and their businesses that bring long-lasting results.

Coaching Approach:

Myriam’s main focus in her work is to engage her clients in the development and implementation of strategies that lead to results that are sustainable, both at organizational and at personal levels. She honors her clients’ precious expertise and deep knowledge of the complexities of their own organization, and provides both space and structure to effectively collect and use this knowledge to achieve their goals. Even though coaching is Myriam’s main focus, consulting may be combined whenever necessary.

She uses a three step approach:

  • Clarity – clear vision of long-, medium- and short-term goals, clear expectations, identification of challenges, identification of  all possible resources available;
  • Engagement – engaging the client, and whenever possible the teams, in the development of the solutions that are best for the organization, considering the mission, the short- to medium-term goals, the challenges and the resources;
  • Performance – doing it! Supporting the client in the implementation of personal, cultural and/or organizational change, reviewing it and measuring results.

  • Founder and moderator of “Passion for Work”, an online forum for executives and business owners who want to work with passion. (since 2008)
  • Initiated and led the non-profit project “Insieme per il tuo lavoro”, where she engaged the moderators of an Italian online group for Job Seekers that selected a group of 6 job seekers. These were coached by Myriam in group coaching over a period of 2 months. The objective was to increase their self-leadership and self-promotion skills to help them get the job they wanted. (2008)
  • Taught Marketing and Sales to young job seekers (aged between 20 and 30) at ENAIP in Borgomanero, Italy, a government-owned school for professional education. (2003 and 2006)
